"We Are Soldiers of Music, We Love to Create Not to Destroy." BIOGRAPHY: "In the winter of 2003 things started to happen for Black Bonzo, formerly known as Gypsy Sons of Magic. As the Gypsy's, their original line-up had been Magnus on vocals, Joakim and Nicklas on guitars, Patrick on bass, Mike on keyboards and Andreas on drums. Things just weren't feeling or sounding right, plus Andreas had prior commitments to another band, so they began to look for a new drummer. This turned out to be more of a hassle than they'd anticipated. They spent two months interviewing many different drummers, but just couldn't find the right one. Meanwhile, drummer-less, they had a plethora of great, new songs waiting to be rehearsed and arranged...it was time for a new approach. The guys sat down to have a serious talk about what to do...and then, out of the blue, someone came up with a brilliant idea: Changing the lineup within the band! It was so simple they almost felt stupid for not thinking of it before!
